THE AMAZING CYCLE POWERED ROBO-RUNNER - a new walkabout act to help you celebrate the 2012 Olympics!!
Britain’s Olympic hopes depend on this top secret sports research project. An Olympic coach grapples with electronic readouts and complex formulae to find out how to give our athletes the edge in 2012. Audience members will be assessed for their athletic potential, advised on training techniques and invited to pedal the Robo- Runner (running while static on rollers) to help power our athletes to glory! (The Runner's arms and legs perfrom a running motion, his head turns, eyes and eyebrows move and he is accompanied by a soundtrack mixing quirky music and sound effects.)
Choice of three great comedy shows, all based around a free standing tightrope rig, 9 -10ft high. Can set up own performing area, approx. 30ftx20ft, with own battery powered sound system. Arena shows: For arenas, rig is mounted on a moveable trailer, which can be set or struck in minutes. Ideal arena size: around 20m to 40metres square.
SUPERHERO TIGHTROPE SHOW Bernie transforms miraculously, in front of the audience, into a comedy superhero from another planet, intent on attempting the first crossing of wherever he is, by tightrope! Outrageous comedy, audience participation and nail biting tricks.
HILLBILLY TIGHTROPE SHOW Bernie appears as a simple minded hillbilly, with a suitcase full of tricks. His attempts to show off on the tightrope are not helped by the presence of a large parrot perched on the middle of it!
BERNIE THE BRAVE. Slay the dragon, escape from the spider's web and cross the abyss to rescue the princess - all in the space of thirty minutes! These challenges are meant for a fairytale hero, but he has gone into hiding becasue his embarrassing dad, Bernie, has turned up to watch. never fear, the show will go on as Bernie stands in, tackling unicycle, escapology and tighrope walking, with laughable results.
